In addition to the psycho-spiritual services I provide to individuals and groups, I run a few small-scale voluntary social service initiatives to provide material support to children, families and individuals in dire circumstances as well as to save animals, through a programme called “Drops of Light”. During my service in the field of social work, I constantly came across children and families faced with numerous adversities and unable to meet even the most basic needs such as food, clothing and housing – still, possessing amazing resilience.

Abhayadana
Rescuing cattle from slaughter houses

Every animal – just like us humans – has a right to life, survival and protection; and every being wants to live a life of peace and freedom, devoid of fear. But every year, approximately 200,000 cattle is slaughtered for meat in Sri Lanka alone.
