This mandala is a fusion of Hamsa symbol, popular in the Middle-East, and the mask of Ginidella Raksha (Fire Demon), popular in the cultural dances of Sri Lanka. Both the symbols are used to ward of the ‘evil eye’, and were sent to me by the divine through meditation, signs and synchronicities in the most interesting and (literally) eye-catching manner (if you are interested, you can read the full story here on my blog article “Following the Divine Breadcrumbs”). To this I have added the sacred geometry of Light Language, and the healing energies of Reiki.
Black absorbs everything (in this case negative energy) while turquoise cleanses and purifies. Purple is the colour of wisdom and spirituality. The tetrahedron is a destroyer and is the symbol of fire in sacred geometry, while the pyramid preserves and cultivates. There are 3 tetrahedrons above the eye, the 2 violet ones creating both tetrahedrons and pyramids, all of which carry a lot of symbolism as well as purpose.
This mandala has been created with the intention of destroying and providing protection from any metaphysical harms (including the 'evil eye') and negative energies, and most importantly, destroying illusion with the fire energies and the cultivation of wisdom. The eye that is at the centre is the Eye of Wisdom, the eye that seeks and sees the Truth. Together with the Fire Demon, it illuminates and cuts through the darkness, and ultimately, all illusions and negative energies are vanquished with the light of wisdom.
