This is the first Suwa Mandala I did for a friend, who is searching for her purpose. In my meditation for her, I saw her in a beautiful garden of greenery, kissing a yellow rose. 
 
The yellow rose in the mandala represents the Solar Plexus Chakra – also known as the Sun Chakra – associated mainly with self-esteem, personal power, autonomy, assertiveness, will, joy and intuition. It is the fire within that fuels us with energy and purpose. As was revealed later, my friend has a deep connection with the colour yellow, to which she has always been attracted, without fully being aware of the reason. The message of the mandala was that it is time for her brilliance to come out, and for her to bloom and shine; she, who often downplays herself, needs to be comfortable with her Light, her power and her connection with the divine. 
 
Surrounding the flower is the sacred geometry of the rose, from which emanates emerald pyramids, cones and spheres, corresponding to the needs and expressions of her Heart Chakra. She is invited to be anchored in her heart, which is the space from which she needs to shine. Depicting her comfortably and confidently resting in her heart centre, the mandala is asking her to stop worrying and striving, and instead to rest, to surrender, to be. In her ‘beingness’ is she to find her ‘purpose’.
